Year 1 Maths - Place Value

Year 1 have been looking at place value and number bonds to 10 in their lessons.

We have been ordering, writing, recognising and comparing numbers 1-20. Some children can write their numbers as words.

We have been learning our number bonds to 10 using numicon and ten frames. We then found the correct number cards so we could see the two numbers together that make ten. Some children wrote some addition number sentences to match the pictoral representation they could see. 

In our independent learning some children have completed a 100 square by writing in all their numbers from 1-100.
