World Book Day is on Thursday 7th March 2024, however every day is a day to celebrate reading here at Pike Fold. We are always overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of our school community and this year we celebrate our love of reading in various ways including: Extreme Reading Competitions, Online Book Reviews, Eggciting Egg Decorating, The Masked Reader Competition, Scholastic Book Fair and Book and a Brew.
On World Book Day this year, we will be sharing our favourite books by dressing up as a book character, as a 'word' or in comfy clothing however, please remember to wear suitable shoes! Reading together is a valuable, social experience which boosts creativity and imagination, improves well being and is a positive experience for everyone!
