Year 1 Maths - Number bonds

Year 1 have been busy in Maths representing and using number bonds within 20. We used egg boxes and eggs to work out all of our number bonds to 6 including the reverse. We then moved on to use cubes in our pairs and then in our books wrote all our number bonds to the number we were given. We discussed how to only change one cube at a time so that we can be certain that we find all our number bonds and don't miss any.  

Next time we will look at how we can find the relative subtraction fact too.
