In class, we have been reading the story, Koji's Island.  It tells the story of a young boy named Koji who lives on a remote island filled with lush forests, fascinating wildlife, and a towering volcano at its heart. As Koji explores the island, he uncovers its secrets, learns about the delicate balance of nature, and builds a connection with his community. However, when the volcano begins to show signs of an eruption, Koji must use his bravery and quick thinking to help protect his home and loved ones.

In class, we have been performing role plays inspired by the dramatic volcanic eruption on Koji's island, stepping into the shoes of the island's inhabitants to imagine how they might respond to such a life-changing event.
