Visit to Blue Planet Aquarium
Date: 2nd Jul 2016 @ 7:01pm
We had a fantastic time on our trip to Blue Planet. We explored the different rooms and learnt about the habitats that fish live in including rivers, lakes, rock pools and coral reefs. We saw lots of different types of fish, the highlights were the scary piranha and sharks, string rays, jelly fish and seahorses. We even saw 'Nemo'! There were other creatures including crabs, frogs, snakes, spiders and a crocodile! We learnt some interesting facts about sharks; they have lots of rows of teeth and can continually shed them, usually 35,000 teeth in a lifetime! Some of us were even brave enough to touch a real starfish and teeth from a Great White Shark! Overall we had a great time and the children were fantastically behaved.
