Reception celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday
Date: 10th Jun 2016 @ 8:12pm
Today the children and staff dressed in red, white and blue to celebrate the Queen's 90th Birthday. We learnt about the Queen's life and more about how she celebrates her birthday with the trooping of the colour. We also talked about the Union Jack and what each colour in the flag represents. The children had a great time designing and making their own crowns and flags. They also made cards and designed cakes for the Queen. In the afternoon we wore our crowns to our picnic party with party food and music!
