Science- Reptiles LIVE Lesson

Lesson: Science

Class: Year 4F Year: 2024 - 2025

Our class, 4F, recently participated in a Developing Experts LIVE lesson focused on reptiles and their distinctive features. The session was highly interactive, incorporating various online research tasks and engaging activities that captivated the students' interest.

They learned that reptiles are cold-blooded animals with scaly skin, which aids in protection and moisture retention. The lesson covered a range of reptiles, including snakes, lizards, turtles, and crocodiles, emphasizing their unique adaptations to diverse environments. The students were particularly fascinated by the process of skin shedding in reptiles and the chameleon's ability to change colour for camouflage. This comprehensive and interactive experience not only deepened their understanding of these remarkable creatures but also enhanced their research skills and enthusiasm for learning.

This all linked to our new Science topic on the Classification of Animals.
