Today, we had a visit from the team at the University of Manchester's Eye Examinations service. They provided valuable information about eye health and the importance of regular check-ups. The team, as part of their 'Bee Eyecare Aware' campaign, shared helpful tips on maintaining good eye health, such as taking breaks from screens, eating a balanced diet, and protecting our eyes from the sun. They also explained how our eyes work and why regular eye tests are essential. As part of the campaign, there is a competition for children to encourage as many people as possible to get their eyes tested. To help with this, we have been given a set of QR codes that link to the website, making it easy for people to book an eye test. The session was engaging and inform ative, leaving us all more aware of how to take care of our vision.
