Squiggle whilst you wiggle!

Nursery children have been enjoying a daily session of 'squiggle whilst you wiggle!' This movement programme helps children develop their mark making skills and is lots of fun for the children and staff! Children will be learning letter formation through whole body movements making it easier for them to control and remember letter formation when they come to write.

We plan to extend the activity by dancing to music using this movement and use it to make marks, this can be in foam, on paper, in sand etc.

These sessions are great fun but most importantly help your child to be confident mark makers.
