Chicks: day 5!

We now have 8 chicks, 3 boys that are yellow, and 5 girls, that are brown. THey are already growing. Today we moved them to their larger box, with a lamp to keep them warm and food and water. The children enjoyed holding and stroking the chicks and thought of lots of describing words to say how they felt: soft, scratchy, pointy bits, fluffy, cuddly and cute.
