Reception Trip to Smithills Farm

Lesson: EYFS

Reception had a great time at the farm. The children enjoyed a tractor ride and a ride on the donkeys. They also got to feed the large animals in the barn including sheep, goats and llamas! They especially enjoyed feeding and holding smaller baby animals including chicks, rabbits, piglets, lambs and a baby donkey. The children were even brave enough to stroke a giant snake! Finally we watched the cows being milked and learnt about how the milk got to the supermarket. Overall we had a fantastic day at the farm.
