Mothers day competition.

On Friday 29th January the school is holding a mothers day art competition in conjunction with Middleton Shopping centre. There is a prize of £100 for the winning school and entries will also be displayed on the shopping centres website.

We are offering Mothers, Grandmothers and Aunties in Years 1, 2 and 3 the opportunity to get involved and pose for your child between 9am and 10.30 am in the dining room.  Entry forms as well as pencils, paints, and crayons will be available for your child to create their masterpiece. We are also hoping the local press will be there to capture the artists in action!

The organisers are interested in entries in the style of different artists such as Picasso, Warhol and Van Gogh who all did portraits of their mothers. For more information please visit www.mothersdayportrait.org.
