Forest school week 6 🦊

Date: 14th Jul 2017 @ 2:14pm

This week in forest school we continued to explore our interests of dens, water, fire building, mud painting and making bird feeders. We had some very special visitors as Miss Hawcroft, Mrs Farnell- Hill and Mr Morris came to visited us! We proudly shared our mud artwork, also using charcoal from last weeks fire (this also made amazing face paint!) experimented with a length of string (demonstrating fantastic mathematical language of short, shorter, long and longest!), we showed off our bird making skills using lard and bird seeds to encourage more wildlife into our area! We used string to tie together sticks to make boats and swings for our bird visitors. As usual we finished with reflection and marsh mellows!

Thanks to to all the parents who have returned forest school evaluation forms and left comments on our blog, we plan to continue with all the children in reception in September!
