Chester Zoo

Reception had a wonderful day today at the zoo and many of the children spotted their favourite animals. We saw; elephants, lions, cheetahs, flamingos, giraffes, orangutans, gibbons, pythons, jaguars, fish, vulctures, rhions, deer, donkeys, reindeer, zebras, chimpanzees, tapiers and a sloth. A lot of the children (and staff) were feeling brave and went into the dark bat cave, one landed on Miss. Armistead's nose!

We are so proud of the children and even the zoo staff commented how impecibly behaved the children were throughout the day. As you can see, by the end of the day we were all exhausted (all apart from Mrs. McDonald!)
